Anyone that knows me knows I love desserts. What? You didn’t know?
Well, I guess you learned something new today then. Good for you!
The reason I eat so much cheesecake is because I once heard that cheesecakes are so good for you that you could eat it everyday and nothing bad will happen.
Sounds pretty legit to me!
Desserts are also good against stress. That’s why stressed spelled backwards is desserts.
I bet you didn’t know that did you now. I guess this blog is not only good for food but also for learning because you have now already learned two new things. Education is important, y’all!
After me and a lady friend had a somewhat heated unnecessary argument on a random day about things that privileged 20-somethings have unnecessary heated arguments about, we decided to get some cheesecake. (It was actually me who suggested it, because I knew if I mentioned cheesecake that all would be forgiven). This mind you was a while back ago, so I didn’t know about the Cheesecake Company before. It is now a pretty well known place in The Hague for desserts and coffee. This place right in the centre of The Hague behind the big church is awesome.
Food/Menu: I had two pieces of cake because I can. The Strawberry cheesecake and Red velvet cake (picture) were absolutely great! The Hot Coco was pretty complimentary and everything together was surprisingly not TOO sweet, so you don’t bounce around for two hours and then afterwards have a sugar crash right in the middle of the street in a puddle of dirty water while a random person Snapchats it, making it go viral. I can’t wait to try the many other fruit AND chocolate flavours!
Vibe: Very chill, professional, calm vibe. it’s not huge but that gives it more charm as well.
Prices: Reasonable. For under 10 euro’s you can have a nice piece of cake and a drink.
Personell: Very friendly and helpful.
This place is great if you just want to have a chill moment for awhile alone or with friends. We will definitely be covering more places like these so keep a look out for that.
