Last Saturday I was in le city centre with my mom and my boyfriend Daan. I had to buy new glasses which took pretty long so we were all starting to get a bit famished! I couldnt really think of anything and forgot that we were in the city centre where you have like 10.000 options to eat. After a minute or 2 I found the light and something amazing popped into my head… Little V in Chinatown.
The reason why I LOOOVEEE this place (Ive actually only been here once but lets just act like Im a regular customer) is because we all know I love food but I have a special place in my heart for Indian, thai, suriname and Vietnamese food. This place covers the last one, Hence the V in their name.
But let me explain why this place is PERFECT!
Menu: Prices start at €4,50 for small bites that do definitly fill u up. The bigger meals start at €7.00 euros and can go up to €20. I have not tried everything on the menu yet but everything sounds DELICIOUS. (Im writing in capslock so you guys can understand how good it is.)
And the drinks OMG: I got the Dragon lady with watermelon and ginger and Daan got lemon grass (both with ice tea), Seriously to die for.
We got the GOI CUON , PHO & BUN BO XAO*
My boyfriend is a pretty picky eater but he loved the food and his drink so that says a LOT! The food was on the table within 10 minutes which Ive never experienced before. It was like a whole new world opened up to me.
Vibe/personnel: You literally feel like you are in Vietnam. The whole setting of the restaurant is perfect. Im not even gonna explain what it looks like, just go there. The personnel was active but not too much in yo face. They were there when u needed them and they dissapeared when we were eating : Just the way I like it.
*Stuffed rice paper rolls with vegetables shrimp and one with chicken, Beef broth with chopped steak, stew , meatballs and rice noodles & traditonal vietnamese dich with vermicelli, spring rolls, vegetables, herbs and fish sauce.
So for me this place gets 5 out of 5 stars.
Just go there, its definitly worth your money.
p.s. the food can be a tad spicy
